How to Use this Blog

You will write at least one blog post for each section of reading in Paradise Lost.

  1. Log into the blog with your assigned username and password.

  2. Click Write to begin a new post. (Or, from the dashboard, click Posts > Add New.

  3. Include a clear topic in your post title.

  4. Type and proofread your post.

  5. Add the appropriate Category (Paradise Lost, Othello, Heart of Darkness, etc)) and Tags (e.g. Motive, Presence, Problem) before you publish your post.

  6. Click Publish.

  7. Be sure to LOG OUT.


NOTE: To edit a previously published post, log into the blog and click Posts > Edit. Select the post you wish to Edit. Make changes, then click Update to re-publish.

  1. As I keep reading, Othello gets less and less intelligent. He's completely lost his senses and is playing right into Iago's hands. What's worse is so is everyone else and they don't even realize it. Take Desdemona for example. Iago keeps trying to convince of Desdemona's infidelity with Cassio and Desdemona keeps spending time with him, listening to his case, and pleading with Othello to reinstate him. Now since all of us know what Iago's game is, I just want to scream at her, "don't talk to him!!" Dramatic irony at it's finest.
